A graduate of the
University of the East Medical School in 1979, Dr. Amor Del Mundo
completed her specialty in General Psychiatry at the Louisiana State
University Medical Center at Shreveport Louisiana in 1989. She finished
a two (2) year fellowship at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB)
at Galveston Texas on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 1991.Concurrent
to this she was Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health.

| From 1991 to 1992, Dr. del Mundo was an
Assistant Professor and Medical Director for UTMB. Dr. del
Mundo was an Assistant Professor and Director for Child Psychiatric
Services at the Louisiana State University Medical Center (LSUMC) in
1992. From 1994 to 1997 Dr.
del Mundo was appointed Director of the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic at
LSUMC. In 1997, Dr. del Mundo became an Assistant Professor and Director
of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at East Tennessee State
University (ETSU)/ James H. Quillen College of Medicine at Johnson City
Tennessee until 2001. |
| In 2001, Dr. del Mundo moved to California to
become President and CEO of the Ameriwest Health Services at La Habra,
California in 2001. |
| A highly motivated individual, Dr. del Mundo
is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry,
The American Academy of Community Psychiatry and the American Academy of
Family Medicine. She has written and co-authored research articles in
various Psychiatric and Medical publications and conventions. |
| Aside from her private practice, Dr. del Mundo is
affiliated with the Western Medical Center in Santa Ana,
California, and the Fountain Valley Regional Hospital also in Orange
County, California. |
| The care and attention Dr. del Mundo gives
her patients and friends earned her the moniker “Dr. Love” which
means “Amor” in Spanish, and is her given name. |
| Traveling and exploring are her major
recreational interest. She enjoys classical music, the Opera and
Broadway plays at her leisure. |
